Description
Busy medical office seeks an advanced practice provider (nurse practitioner or physicians assistant) with experience. Work in a collegial, efficient office with excellent support staff. The candidate will be responsible for focused history and physical exams performing comprehensive and problem focused history and physical exams, interpret and correlate laboratory and diagnostic data, formulate a differential and working diagnosis, and create a treatment plan for problems within their scope of practice. This job is full-time, outpatient clinic with one location.

Salary range: $160-200k per year, depending on experience.

Requirements
Minimum education:
Graduate of a credentialed NP or PA training program. Must be licensed to practice in the state of CA.
Required Skills:
At least 3 years experience as a cardiology NP or PA
Perform detailed history and physical when appropriate, diagnose and treat patients, order appropriate test/ procedures, and prescribe medication for specific diagnosis.
Critical thinking skills, sound judgement based on established evidenced-based medical practice, and the ability to work with minimal supervision..
Meticulous and timely billing and charting.
See about 15-20 patients a day
Perform some in office procedures such as loop recorder implants, exercise treadmill testing, IVs
