St. Josephs Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Occupational Health team in Syracuse, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to support the health and well-being of our employees through direct care, preventive services, and workplace health initiatives.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct fit-for-duty physicals as part of the SJH pre-employment process

• Evaluate and treat employee walk-ins for injury management
• Collaborate with staff to address provider follow-up questions
• Manage drug screen reviews and lab draws
• Assess and follow up on occupational exposures per CDC and NYS guidelines
• Conduct annual health assessments as needed

Qualifications:

• Active NYS license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an NP or PA (Occupational Health experience preferred)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

Compensation:

• Competitive base salary: $118,600-$140,000 (range is dependent on years of experience)
