Orthopedic Perioperative Nurse Practitioner -Maryland

Full-Time | No Nights/Weekends/Call

Join a leading orthopedic group as a Nurse Practitioner in our Perioperative Medicine Program. This independent role focuses on preoperative evaluation and optimization for a multispecialty orthopedic practice including subspecialties- sports medicine, back and spine, foot and ankle, upper extremity, and total joint arthroplasty

What You'll Do:

• Evaluate 10-20 patients/day; provide a comprehensive medical evaluation and risk assessment for patients undergoing elective surgical procedures.
• Develop a plan of care and optimization plan for patients.
• Lead the preoperative care process
• Collaborate with surgeons, specialists, and anesthesia to optimize surgical outcomes.
• Work independently with a dedicated MA and structured support

Requirements:

• Maryland NP license (VA a plus)
• 3+ years NP experience, ideally perioperative, IM, or FM
• Strong clinical judgment; independent practice
