Full-Time Urgent Care Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
We are seeking a dynamic and confident full-time Urgent Care Provider, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established clinic, located in North Oklahoma City, conveniently situated near major highways and medical group operations. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
This clinic operates seven days a week, and candidates must be comfortable with flexible scheduling and covering additional shifts as needed.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: 14 twelve-hour shifts per month (8:00 am - 7:45 pm, last patient); flexible scheduling including weekends
- Compensation: Competitive annual base salary, plus additional incentives for productivity and extra shifts worked
- Benefits: CME allowance, eligible for full benefits package, and opportunity for additional shifts across other locations if desired.
- Staffing: Dedicated support team: Medical Assistants, Office Assistants, and onsite supervising physician.
- Patient Volume: Consistently busy clinic with focus on maximizing patient care and maintaining smooth clinic operations.
- X-ray and laboratory services available onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive urgent care within the full scope of your license, managing a wide range of acute conditions.
- Deliver a high-quality patient experience and contribute to the unique, energetic culture of our clinic.
- Participate in ongoing clinical education and skill development.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant urgent care or emergency medicine experience strongly preferred. New graduates will be considered, though prior experience is ideal.
- Ability to work independently and confidently at the top of your clinical scope.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Required Professional License and/or Certifications:
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) AND
- Registered Nurse (RN) issued by Compact State (Within 6 months) OR Registered Nurse (RN) Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN) (Within 6 months) AND
- Advanced Practice Registered nurse (APRN) Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN) AND one of the following:
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC) - American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Adult) (ACNPC) - American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN)
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Adult-Gerontology) (ACNPG-AG) - American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN)
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC) - American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) - American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
- Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGPCNP-BC) - American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP-C) - American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB)
- Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification (ANP-BC) - American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) - American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
