Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Early Childhood Focus
Location: San Mateo, San Francisco & Marin Counties
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with flexibility
Compensation: $120k-$140k + Travel, cell phone and internet stipends
Role Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner to support individuals in early childhood, including infants and young children with complex medical and developmental needs. This role focuses heavily on care plan development, clinical consultation, and community-based support, with a strong emphasis on early intervention. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in home and community settings, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting families through education and guidance. Experience working with infants, particularly in a NICU setting, is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and update individualized care plans, ensuring appropriate interventions and medical oversight for early childhood populations.
- Provide clinical consultation and support to families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams, including case managers and service providers.
- Conduct home visits and community-based assessments across San Mateo, San Francisco, and Marin counties.
- Review and interpret medical records to inform care planning, treatment recommendations, and coordination of services.
- Educate and train caregivers and staff on medical conditions, care strategies, and early childhood developmental needs.
- Collaborate with staff and community providers to ensure coordinated, person-centered care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2+ years of clinical experience, preferably with individuals with developmental disabilities or complex medical needs.Experience monitoring developmental delays with 0-3 year olds.
- Experience working with infants and young children (early childhood); NICU experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing care plans.
- Comfortable conducting home visits and traveling regularly within San Mateo, San Francisco, and Marin counties.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills working with families and interdisciplinary teams.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
